Southern Belles
Southern belles appear throughout the Southern region of the U.S. in varying personalities. Our stereotypical Southern belles evolved or are evolving before our very eyes and continue to exude that famous Southern woman mystique. From birth they are imbued with the wiles that make them sought after by every male with whom they come in contact. Beauty may be only skin deep; but, the magic of Dixie's damsels resides in their souls. Read on to meet them in their most open demeanors.
Tommie (the quintessential tom-boy), this freckle-faced perpetual motion machine morphs into Mrs. Good Wife in later years; but until she does, she enjoys all the outdoor activities of her male counterparts. Hunting, fishing, tennis, and golf all fall under her purview; yet, she retains that freshness and youthful outlook and appearance for which she's known.
Precious (daddy's little darling), learned at a young age that a lilting voice, downcast eyes and a kiss on daddy's cheek will get her just about anything she wants. She has a "sugar-daddy" now but uses the same expert actions to get what she wants. Warn your sons and keep your daughters out of her path; this one is used to getting her way and Hell hath no equal to her scorn.
Wild Woman (formerly a wild child that would do anything on a dare). Skinny-dipping and stealing watermelons were a way of life for this uninhibited bundle of energy and adulthood hasn't slowed her down. As and adult she acquired a touch of wickedness that would rival a witch and nothing is out-of-bounds.
Ms Wicked (she's wantonly wayward and vengeful; except with her friends). She has a funny kind of wickedness and antics that are outrageous. Never one to leave before the lights are turned off, she is always ready for a party. She's loved by all and inordinately loyal to her friends.
Ms Vamp (a.k.a. Ms Flirt; a size 6 is a size 4), is most adept at batting her long lashes and standing more than a little too close to her interest at the moment. At age 40 she's still wearing too tight hip-hugger jeans, cut-off tee shirts and skimpy underwear. Men watch her and you should as well, else you'll end up fighting for what's yours.
